Defunct Games strives to look at all facets of the gaming industry, from the early days of 2D platforming to the machines of today that can push out millions of polygons per second. When it's not reviewing games (both new and old), Defunct Games is working to uncover funny stories and the terrible trends that so many other sites are trying to ignore.

Every day you can expect this site to bring a smile to your face as they inform you on the history of the video game industry.

During the early stages of Defunct Games, its only purpose was to give a couple updates to its viewers a month. But after a spike in popularity in the first year, it was apparent that a redesign was needed. Web Confidence Design was brought on in early 2002 to redesign Defunct Games, and has retrofitted it three times since, and continues to make daily, weekly, and monthly updates to the sites code and functionality.

Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC) Screenshot
The Public Employment Relations Commission is an independent state agency responsible for resolving disputes involving most public employers and employees, and the unions that represent those employees. This agency deals with all aspects of the mediation process. Training is available upon request for Interest Based Bargaining, and Labor-Management Committee.

Web Confidence Design was contracted out to come up with a design and layout that would convey a non-government look while still acting as a government website, and they wanted it to be more user-friendly. Through weekly meetings which were more like mediation hearings, we were able to secure a design that everyone on the staff felt good about. Everything from the colors used, to the space between each image and word was decided upon by a committee of five or more PERC staff members. After two months, the site was finally approved and went live to a very warm reception.
